   Vice President of Blount County Economic Development, Bryan Daniels says, "It's going to do a world of good for the whole Tennessee Valley that's we've got here."
   
   Blount county will be one of several East Tennessee counties vying for the many automotive suppliers to the VW plant that haven't announced yet.
   
   Daniels, says, "They'll locate in adjacent towns right outside of it and those adjacent towns can be an hour, hour and a half, two hours away."
   
   Because the automaker could have located here....economic development officials have already seen some suppliers.
   
   Daniels says, "I would say probably five to eight people."
   ...
   Daniels says, "Five hundred acres, graded and ready to go with infrastructure in place to accommodate different companies expanding ... so for Blount county we're ready to go."
   ...
   And Daniels says they're not wasting any time in selling the area.
   
   "Putting together a strategy to go and see these automotive suppliers in Germany."
   
   Daniels says they're also putting together a marketing strategy for getting those suppliers to come look at the area.
   
   He hopes they'll be showing many of them the best that Blount County has to offer this fall when they come to do on-site visits.
