Appoints Bruce Daniels to Position of VP of Sales and Marketing at Wyndgate Technologies.
LAKEWOOD, Colo., July 27 /PRNewswire / -- Global Med Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board : GLOB - news ; ``Global Med'') announced today the appointment of Bruce Daniels to the position of Vice President - Sales and Marketing for its Wyndgate Technologies division.
Mr. Daniels has extensive knowledge in both hospital and blood center transfusion practices.Most recently, Mr. Daniels was President - Pall Biomedical Products Company division, Pall Corporation (NYSE : PLL - news).In this capacity he directed the sales and marketing for Pall's hospital products in North America.These products included blood processing and transfusion sets for general use and leukocyte removal.Previously, Mr. Daniels was Vice President Sales and Marketing for fifteen years at Kentec Medical Inc., a regional specialty distributor, for medical devices, equipment and services.

SafeTrace Tx is a transfusion management information system designed for use in hospitals and centralized transfusion service facilities to help ensure the safety and effectiveness of blood products administered to patient-recipients.SafeTrace Tx will help transfusion services manage patients, orders, blood product inventory and billing, as well as track all activities relating to blood product testing, preparation, movement and transfusion.SafeTrace Tx tracks blood products from the time they are received into inventory through the time they are transfused or returned to a supplying blood center.
