In Bishkek, Amy Daniels, AmeriCares project director, and Randy Weiss, AmeriCares account executive, and Dr. Stephen Winter, AmeriCares volunteer physician, will work with the Adventist Development and Relief Agency and the Kyrgyzstan health ministry to arrange for the distribution of the supplies to hospitals, clinics and other health care facilities throughout the country.

Amy Daniels, a project manager for AmeriCares, said the organization will be assessing victims' needs and handing out supplies over the next several days.She said the devastation caused by the hurricane was overwhelming.

"It was just really surprising how debilitating it was, for the people in general, the mobility, the communications," Daniels, of Wilton, said late Monday.

Our next guest was Amy Daniels from Americares.Amy spoke to us live from Florida where she and other Americares volunteers are helping Florida residents effected by Hurricane Charley.Amy gave us a report on what it's like in the impacted areas.She said in some spots in looks like a battle zone.We asked about price gouging; but she said she hasn't seen to much so far.
