Currently in her fifth and final year at LSSU, Amanda is double majoring in Political Science and Communications, but her passion is event planning.Amanda's event planning experience began in High School where she sat on the Prom committee.In her freshman year at LSSU she joined the Activities Board and came to be the Director as a Junior and served two years in that capacity.Within these two years Amanda oversaw a committee of volunteer students and budget of up to $100,000.Amanda created many events at LSSU while preserving traditional events like Winter Carnival.Her enthusiasm for putting on an awesome show often lead to sleepless nights just to get things perfect.Under her direction, events were created, budgeted, and advertised for; decorations were purchased, prizes were given away, and University policies were adhered to.In her 'free' time, Amanda planned her best friend's wedding in Grand Rapids and thrived on the excitement of such an event."Amanda is truely an amazing and gifted event planner, I will entrust her to my wedding, you should too!"
