Zhang Dan, of the MBP Consulting Beijing office, comes to MBP with more than a decade of experience in the media and entertainment industry.She has worked as a consultant for FORTUNE Global Forum in Hong Kong, Paris, and Shanghai and was in charge of the forum's domestic news releases and administration in Time Inc.'s Beijing office.From 1996 to 1997, Zhang was China editor for The Chinese Magazine, a regional life style magazine based in Hong Kong which focuses on global Chinese celebrities and personalities.From 1984 to 1994, Zhang was a reporter and editor of the magazine China's Screen, published by China Film Corporation, the sole governmental organization authorized to import and export films.She was also the China correspondent for Variety magazine and Beijing correspondent for Taiwan's main entertainment daily, Minsheng Daily.

Zhang Dan received a B.A. from the Chinese Language and Literature Department of Peking University.
