Description: The Bariatric Care Center team at Summa Akron City Hospital invites you to a free education seminar presented by Adrian Dan, M.D., Associate Medical Director of the Center, to learn about minimally invasive weight loss surgery options.

Adrian G. Dan, MD, Associate Medical Director, joined Summa in September 2006 as the associate medical director of the Bariatric Care Center. He is fellowship-trained in advanced laparoscopic and bariatric surgery and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Dan is also on the teaching staff with the department of surgery at Summa's Akron City Hospital.

He specializes in abdominal laparoscopic surgery, minimally invasive weight loss surgery (Laparoscopic Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass and Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding), laparoscopic treatment of abdominal/inguinal hernias, and laparoscopic colon resection for both benign and malignant disease.
