Andrew Dalglish, CCFC's National President was ecstatic by the total raised.

"It's a great experience for our volunteers to work with M&M Meat Shops across Canada and to have the opportunity to meet new people from their community.While raising money for CCFC, Charity BBQ Day also helps educate the public about our organization, the disease and our efforts to find a cure," he says.

Andrew Dalglish

Andrew Dalglish joined Mackenzie in 1993 in Fund Administration and worked in several progressive roles with involvement in operations, information systems and the MRS Group of Companies. In his current position as Executive Vice President, Operations of Mackenzie Financial Corporation, Andrew is responsible for back-office transfer agency functions including customer service, processing and fund administration.

After graduating in 1983 with a B.Comm, Honours from Queen's University in Kingston, Andrew joined public accounting firm Touche Ross & Co., where he achieved his Chartered Accountant designation and spent 9 years serving clients, his last 5 years focused exclusively on the financial services industry practice.

A teenage sufferer of Crohn's disease Andrew joined the Board of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada in 1996 where he served for seven years culminating in a two-year term as National President. He also joined the Board of FundSERV Inc. in 1997 and served as Chair in 1998-9, remaining on the Board thereafter. In 1999 he was a recipient of Canada's Top 40 under 40TM award.
