As a nurse, Patti Daley has had a variety of wonderful work experiences, including medical-surgical nursing, community nursing, and teaching nursing.Presently she is employed on a casual basis at the Atlantic Health Sciences Corporation, in the Palliative Care Unit.

She has been involved in AIDS work since 1991.As a volunteer, she was a board member of AIDS Saint John, and the executive director from 1995 to 1997.She has been a member of CANAC/ACIIS since 1994.Her interest is in learning about life from the stories of PLWHIV/AIDS.She believes that through their sharing, health professionals can advance the practice of health care and enhance the lives of PLWHIV/AIDS and their significant others.
