Chris Curtis , CEO
As CEO, Chris Curtis has responsibilities for the overall direction of CGInternational, its vision and business development strategy.
Prior to launching CGInternational, Chris was the President and Founder of the Centre for Entrepreneurship Education and Development (CEED), an international center for entrepreneurship development.
Chris began his career as an educator and then became a successful entrepreneur.
In 1990, Chris became President and Director of Operations for Junior Achievement of Mainland Nova Scotia, combining his love of teaching and his experience in entrepreneurship and sharing it with youth.
In 1993, Chris joined the Nova Scotia Department of Education as the entrepreneurship learning specialist.
In 1995, he initiated the establishment of the Centre for Entrepreneurship Education and Development, CEED, with a mandate to work with youth and youth-supporting organizations throughout Nova Scotia.
In his capacity at CEED, Chris stood out as an internationally regarded and much sought after speaker and advisor on entrepreneurship development.
His areas of expertise include policy development, educational change, entrepreneurship modeling, and strategic partnership development.
Chris has provided training, advice, technical assistance and project leadership throughout the world.
People from over 65 countries have sought expertise and assistance from Chris Curtis.
Chris also has experience working with a variety of development and enterprise organizations, including the Brunei Ministry of Education, the Organization of American States, the World Bank, the Inter American Development Bank, and the Association of Business Enterprise Centres in Australia.
