Chris Curtis co-founded Lattice Software Pty Ltd in the 1980s, becoming Software Development Manager (HR Systems) for Mincom when it acquired Lattice. Subsequently he has been Software Engineering Manager and later General Manager of Hong Kong Jockey Club's Australian Research and Development Operations and Chief Technology Officer, Australian Managing Director and member of the international management board of global security vendor, Eracom Technologies.

Currently Mr Curtis is the Managing Director of Long Reach Technologies, which provides IT consulting and services (under the brand My IT Manager) to a number of clients across various industry sectors including retail, accounting, law, recruitment, manufacturing, education and software development.

Chris is Chief Technical Officer of Eracom Technologies, a company specialising in Information Security products.He has twenty years experience in the Information Technology sector initially as a developer, then as manager and consultant.At Eracom, Chris oversees the development, distribution and support of the company's hardware and software security products.

Prior to joining Eracom in 1998, Chris worked as a consultant helping companies plan and implement ecommerce and B2B environments.

Before that, Chris managed a systems development subsidiary of The Hong Kong Jockey Club and played key roles including architect, project manager and project director for a number of critical systems.These include a reliable, managed, secure wide area network infrastructure, the worlds first smart card based cashless betting system and an Electronic Funds Transfer system.All of these systems had a major security component and a requirement for high availability.

Chris has been a speaker at several major conferences, including Cards Asia and the Crypto conference held by QLD University of Technology's Information Security Research Centre.

He is also founding member and committee member of the Gold Coast Region IT Forum.
