"Having received Deborah's moving letter we knew she was an ideal candidate to sail with the Jubilee Sailing Trust," said Lynne Curry, Head of Fundraising for the JST, "but we knew that it would be difficult for Deborah who's only income is her disability allowance to fund the cost of a whole voyage."

Lynne added, "Having heard of the amazing work the Christopher Reeve Foundation does we decided to see if they could help with funding."

The Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation is dedicated to curing spinal cord injuries and improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis.
