Praktikos Technologies, Inc., Birmingham, AL, hired Mr. David Curry of Birmingham, as their new President and CEO. Mr. Curry brings with him over ten years of experience in strategic negotiations and marketing. Most recently he served as the Practice Director of the Birmingham office of Emerald Solutions, an $80M technology consulting firm headquartered in Portland, OR. Prior to joining Emerald, Mr. Curry worked as an internet strategy consultant with Diamond Cluster International out of Chicago. He spent the first part of his career as a licensed negotiator for the US Air Force, to include work on the B-2 Bomber program, TRW satellite systems, and various operational initiatives in Europe.
David is a graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point, NY, with a Bachelors in Systems Engineering and English Literature. He also holds a Masters in Business Administration from UCLA, with a concentration in Marketing Strategy.
