Kevin E. Crutchfield, MDChief Medical Officer
Dr. Crutchfield is responsible for medical oversight of NHSi clinical operations, clinical trials, and HDVA applications development with a special focus on Vascular Medicine and Science.Dr. Crutchfield is an honors graduate of St. Mary's College of Maryland, Magna Cun Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and holds a medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine.He served his Internship at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center and his Residency in Neurology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.He was a Senior Staff Fellow in Metabolic Neurology at NIH and a Fellow in Transcranial Doppler at Johns Hopkins University.In 2000, he was Co-recipient of the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology John Hill Brinton Award, for outstanding research by a young scientist.Dr. Crutchfield is Board Certified in Neurology.He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Neurology and of Emergency and Military Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.In 1999 and again in 2002, his colleagues voted him as a "Top Doctor" in the Washingtonian Magazine survey.He is a member of the Society for Neuroscience, AHA Stroke Council, and the American Academy of Neurology.
