Sandra A Cruickshank, BSc

Sandra Cruickshank joined Bowlts in May 1999, to assist in the expanding drawing office.

Following her secondary education at Speyside High School, Sandra went on to study Architectural Technology at The Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, graduating in the summer of 1997 with a BSc, which she passed with distinction.

The first two years of study were carried out in composite groups and involved studying alongside construction managers and both building and quantity surveyors.The course then diversified into the individual disciplines during the final year.

The course covered a wide range of subjects, including cost and investment, law, management, maths and information systems, economics, structural mechanics and ongoing project work.

After leaving Aberdeen, Sandra found employment at an architectural practice in Keith where she was taken on as a draughtsperson, gaining experience in various projects and on site works.

As part of Bowlts' continual technological upgrading programme, Sandra has gained experience using Computer Aided Design and Arcview.
