Ralph Cruickshank, Consultant
Ralph joined Healthcare Management Advisors in August 2007.
Prior to joining HMA, Ralph spent the previous 3 years working in various capacities in the Commonwealth public service.
As a policy analyst for the Department of Industry Tourism and Resources in 2007, he undertook detailed analysis of the Commonwealth Government's Research & Development Tax Concession and Commercial Ready programs and prepared briefs for the Minister.
Ralph also worked with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority in 2006 to help implement a cost recovery regime.
With a degree in information technology from the University of Queensland, Ralph has a strong background in IT.
He has worked as a software developer, business analyst and project manager for a number of private and public sector organisations in Sydney, Canberra and Darwin over a period of 7 years between 1998 and 2005.
This includes short and long term contracts at Medicare Australia, Department of Health and Ageing, IP Australia, Department of Defence and the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
Ralph has recently completed an MBA at the Australian National University, during which he worked with a Canberra-based pharmaceutical company to develop and international business development plan.
Ralph also spent 12 months working as a volunteer IT specialist in Samoa in 2003 and 2004.
