A brainchild of environmental science graduate student Dan Crowther, the Green Fund will give students the opportunity to contribute to an environmental cause and see personal results. Crowther, vice president of the Environmental Science Club, asked for the ASWSU Senate's public support of the grassroots campaign for a greener WSU.
"We just want to help WSU with their sustainability commitments," he said.
Although WSU is a leader on environmental issues, it would excel with increased student awareness and more funding, Crowther said.
