(economic and financial consultants) and serves on the boards of several public and private entities and other organizations, including Placer Dome Inc., Rockwater Capital Corporation, High Income Principal and Yield Corporation, High Income Preferred Shares Corporation, Coastal Income Corporation, Canadian Tire Bank, Lawrence Enterprise Fund, and Arts for Children of Toronto.Mr. Crow holds a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University.After graduating, Mr. Crow joined the International Monetary Fund where he spent 12 years.In 1973, he joined the Bank of Canada where he was appointed Governor in 1987.In 1993, he was elected Chairperson of the central bank governors of the Group of Ten Countries, a position he relinquished when his term as Governor ended.
