Frances Lucille Crowley, 85, formerly of 517 Maryland Ave., died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at Fairview Manor.
She was born Jan. 3, 1917, in Albion, daughter of the late Clarence and Nora Haekadel Shauberger.
She was a 1934 graduate of Albion High School and graduated from Saint Vincent Hospital School of Nursing in 1939.She was a registered nurse who taught health at Villa Maria Academy for 15 years and retired in 1977.
She was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.She was a member of the Siebenbuerger Ladies Auxiliary and the Erie Senior Day Center at the Salvation Army.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Crowley, in 1999; a sister, Alice Bowen; and a brother, Robert Shauberger.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis Crowley and his wife, Karen, of Adams, N.Y., and Michael Crowley and his wife, Diane, of Friendship, ME; a brother, Joseph Shauberger of Elkhart, Ind.; five grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at John J. Quinn Funeral Home, 708 W. Ninth St. A prayer service will be held there Tuesday at 8:30 a.m., followed by a Mass at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church at 9 a.m.
