   ANDY CROWLEY, TRUMPET & PICCOLO TRUMPET Andy was born in London . He studied at the Royal Academy of Music with Ray Allen. During this time he won many solo prizes and gave his first recital at the Purcell Room for the Park Lane New Young Artist series. He is now the principal trumpet with the English Chamber Orchestra (1988) and London Sinfonietta (2003).
   
   As a soloist, he has performed at many major European festivals and London venues with the ECO, LMO and LFO playing concertos by Michael & Joseph Haydn, Hummel & Marcello. He is a sought after studio artist who has recorded over 100 Soundtracks for films such as Harry Potter (1/3), Shrek (1/2), James Bond 007 in Die Another Day, Lord of the Rings and the credited solos on The Legend of Bagger Vance.
   
   Andy has also played live in concert and recorded for artists such as Quincy Jones, Ornette Coleman, Joni Mitchell, Sir Paul McCartney, Robbie Williams and Tom Jones.

   Andy Crowley Andrew Crowley studied at the Royal Academy of Music from 1980 to 83, and was a Park Lane Group recitalist in 1986. He has been Principal Trumpet of the English Chamber Orchestra since 1989, making solo appearances in London and at many major festivals, plus numerous broadcasts and TV appearances. Examples include performances of the Haydn Trumpet Concerto on Classic FM, and an acclaimed performance of M. Haydn's concertos at the Würzburg International Mozart Festival. Recently, he took over the role of Manager & Artistic Director of London Brass. He became the London Sinfonietta's Principal Trumpet in May 2003.
