Andrew Crowley, Vice President of Financial Services EMEA, CSC has been elected President of the Management Consultancies Association (MCA), the trade association for UK-based consulting firms.Crowley takes over this annual position from Alan Russell, Director of LogicaCMG's consulting unit.

Crowley started his career as an Electronics Research & Development Engineer in Core Banking Systems.He later joined CSC through the acquisition of Butler Cox in 1991 by CSC Index and has subsequently consulted with multinationals on large scale re-engineering programmes.
Crowley is currently Vice President of Financial Services EMEA, leading the continued growth of CSC EMEA's consulting business.In his 16 years at CSC, Crowley has previously managed CSC's German, UK, and Danish Consulting & Systems Integration businesses.
Commenting on his role at the MCA, Andrew Crowley said: "I am delighted to be elected President of the Management Consultancies Association.With demand for consulting high, and the consulting industry contributing over £8billion to the UK economy, the industry is demonstrating that through greater transparency and a better understanding of the value delivered by consulting firms, it is continuing to grow year on year."
