   William J. Crowell, Jr. is Of Counsel to the Firm having been one of the most senior members of the law firm of Crowell, Susich, Owen & Tackes, Ltd., a firm that has been part of the legal community of Carson City since 1950. Mr. Crowell is engaged in the general practice of law, with expertise in civil litigation; corporate, business, and contract law; real property, mining and water law; estate planning and probate law; administrative and gaming law; personal injury law; and, family law.
   
   After gaining admittance to the State Bar of Nevada in 1967, Mr. Crowell joined his father in private practice and served as Deputy District Attorney in Douglas County, Nevada, until 1978, when he and his father were joined in private practice by Mr. Crowell's younger brother, Robert.
   
   Community & Leadership
   
   A member of the State Bar of Nevada, Washoe County Bar Association, First Judicial District Bar Association, and Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, Mr. Crowell is a former member of the Standing Committee on Professional Responsibility and Conduct of the Nevada State Bar and the current chairman of the First Judicial District Rules Revision Committee.

   A native Nevadan born in the southern mining town of Tonopah, Mr. Crowell earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in philosophy from Stanford University in 1964, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Denver College of Law in 1966, where he was Associate Editor of the Denver Law Journal and a member of the Order of St. Ives and Phi Alpha Delta.
