Mark Crowell

In addition to a formal presentation on the report recommendations from FEMA's Mark Crowell, the Coastal Committee discussed this issue at length during the Committee meeting and Coastal Issues breakfast.This discussion included a review of the preliminary results of the Committee survey of state Coastal Management Program representatives regarding specific options and recommendations contained in the Heinz report.The Committee expects to compile additional survey data during the next few months and prepare a summary document that will identify areas of consensus regarding specific options and recommendations.

Feel free to review the study information and let the Coastal Committee Chair know what you think.All comments are welcome, particularly specific comments regarding the Federal Policy Options and Recommendations contained in Chapter 6 of the Study.The ASFPM Coastal Committee welcomes input from all members.
