   Speaking of love, Lana Crowell, John's wife, appreciates the thoughtfulness that John showers on her in not letting a day go by without telling her that he loves her. That's not always so easily done because, as a pilot with United Airlines, he is often as far away as Hawaii.
   
   Lana adds that John came to the Lord through a camp experience when he was a youth. This could be part of the reason he still has such a heart for the youth of our church, and has acted as a mentor for Barry. Lana notes that her husband leads by example. As a matter of fact, while on their honeymoon in Santa Barbara, the day following their wedding, John took Lana to church.
