   As a result of their leaving Eiland Elementary School and Hildebrandt Intermediate School, Sharon Firestone has become the principal of Eiland Elementary School; Scott Crowe has been named principal of Hildebrandt Intermediate School.

   Mr. Crowe is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University with a B. A. in education. His first teaching job was at Strack Intermediate School where he taught theatre arts for six years. He served for six years as an assistant principal at Strack before transferring to Klein Oak High School where he was an associate principal for 1½ years. Crowe became a teacher to "provide opportunities for students to become involved in real life learning." Through administration, he has gained opportunities to work with more students and to work additionally with teachers.

   Seventh and eighth grade students gathered for an opening day welcome to their new school while sixth grade students were welcomed by the Krimmel cheerleaders and principal Mr. Scott Crowe.
