R. Brian Crow is currently in his 4th year as Associate Professor of Sport Management in the Department of Sport Management at Slippery Rock University, where he teaches Sport Marketing and Sport Communication at the undergraduate level and Sport Marketing and Sport Budget and Finance in the graduate program. He is presently the President of the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM). Prior to this election, Crow was NASSM¡¯s Business Office Manager for two years and a Member-at-Large on the Executive Council. Crow recently ended his three-year tenure as Editor-in-Chief of the Sport Marketing Quarterly, a publication for which he presently serves as a member of the Editorial Review Board. As Editor of SMQ, Crow was a founding board member of the Sport Marketing Association. In 2005, Crow started a sport marketing and fan consultation company, GameDay Consulting, LLC, a firm specializing in the training, certification, and monitoring of gameday employees at sport venues.. Current clients include the Buffalo Bills. Dr. Crow currently is an educational consultant for Nike Grassroots Basketball and the Nike All-America basketball camp, and served as a strategy consultant for SOKOL USA. Crow has done research for the Nokia Sugar Bowl, the Black Sports Agents Association, and the Mississippi Sea Wolves (ECHL).
