   Phil has been associated with the Schofield name since 1982, having joined the then R M Schofield & Partners to open a Southern office on the "one man band" principle. By 1987, the Southern office had become the dominant part of the business as it was then structured. He instigated a modest management buy out arrangement that lead to the formation of Schofield & Co. Ltd.
   
   His role has been that of Chairman or Group Chairman ever since. Keeping the role of Group Managing Director, he retains "hands on" involvement and holds special responsibility at executive level for operational efficiency and resources.
