   When it fully implements the complete SmartStream Financials suite, including Ledger, Allocations, Receivables, Payables, Purchasing and Budget applications, Region of Niagara's employees will spend less time inputting data and more time using it. For instance, when working on a budget, employees will be able to input figures directly into the application, manipulate the data and print the final project in the desired report format. When purchasing items for a particular department, users will have access to previous purchasing records and data from other departments that may affect the purchasing decision. In addition, Region of Niagara will now be able to more efficiently manage the responsibilities downloaded to municipalities from the provincial government.
