   Formerly with Arthur Andersen & Co. and a Rice University graduate, Whitney is a 20-year member of the PGA of America. He is also a former member of the Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, where he learned to play golf. In the 1980's, he was a junior partner in a golf management company on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. While there, he managed the golf and tennis facilities for the Shipyard, Wexford, and Port Royal Plantations. In addition, for the same firm, he managed facilities in Columbia, SC, and Louisville, Ky. In 1991, he moved to Atlanta to build and operate Southerness GC. Since then, Whitney has developed and managed for various partnerships and/or clients, such as Fox Creek, Bradshaw Farm, Hooch, Woodmont, Hampton, Reunion, and Brookfield golf facilities in the Atlanta area. In 1997, he founded Whitney H. Crouse & Company to be consultants, developers, and managers of golf club properties throughout the United States. In January, 2003, the firm's name was changed to Affiniti Golf Partners, Inc. Whitney has written for Golf Digest, Golf, Golf World, and The Golfer magazines. In 1996, he wrote I Know Absolutely Nothing About Golf, which was published by Rutledge Hill Press. Whitney has served as an Officer of the GGCOA for the past 4 years.

   Once a consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co. and a Rice University graduate, Whitney is a twenty-five year member of the PGA of America. He is also a former member of Merion Golf Club where he learned to play golf.
   
   Whitney began his golf career managing resort properties on Hilton Head Island. For the past fifteen years, he has been developing, building, and managing multiple high-end golf properties in the Atlanta area. He has written for Golf Digest and currently serves as Past President of the Georgia Golf Course Owners Association.
