   Thomas C. Crouch Jr., age 90, passed away January 6, 2002. A Richmond attorney for over 50 years, he was a graduate of the University of Richmond and honors graduate of the T.C. Williams School of Law. As a youth, he lived with his grandmother's large family on historic Linden Row. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. His many hobbies included his amateur radio station, W4CRG, music, woodworking and writing short stories. He had also been a member of the Isaac Walton League. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gloria H. Crouch; and his daughter, Jennifer C. Dickinson. Private memorial services at a later date.

   DAVENPORT REED Martha Davenport Reed of Richmond died at age 58 at her home on January 5, 2002. She is survived by her three children, Louise W. Reed of Chapel Hill, N.C., Alice Byrd Reed Keating of Washington, D.C. and F. Scott Reed Jr. of Manakin; one grandchild, Abigail A. Olson, also of Chapel Hill; her mother, Mrs. B. Warwick Davenport; and her brother, Bradfute W. Davenport Jr., both of Richmond.
