MattCrouch/OmegaCode says, "The sequel motion picture to the Omega Code is already in production.It has a working title of Megiddo.It will strangely be part "prequel" and part "sequel" and will encompass a larger budget than the Omega Code.We plan to release it sometime around Easter 2001 into the theatrical marketplace."

Matthew Crouch, producer of the evangelical sci-fi film, The Omega Code, said, "My dad was sincerely told by his mother, 'If you go into the theater and see Roy Rogers and Dale Evans ride their horses, you're gonna go right into hell.' We're just waking up to the fact there can be entertainment."

Premiere, meanwhile, highlights the promise for Christian filmmakers, like The Omega Code's Matthew Crouch, and promoters like Jonathan Bock, who market mainstream films to Christian audiences.

Matt Crouch, producer of The Omega Code, in a March 31, 2000 online chat with Crosswalk announced that Megiddo "will strangely be part prequel and part sequel."He describes Megiddo as attempting to "tell the story of the rise of an Anti-Christ character from a completely different perspective than Omega Code.It begins with the Anti-Christ as a young child and follows our lead all the way to the field of Megiddo during the Battle of Armageddon.And by the way, he loses!"
