   Elder Lockhart was appointed pastor of Starlight COGIC in 1983 by the late Bishop Benjamin J. Crouch; Bishop of the Metropolitan Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction.
   
   This Los Angeles native is no stranger to church administration and leadership. He has served in numerous capacities such as; Sunday School teacher, local and district Sunday School Superintendent and currently Assistant District Superintendent of the Love and Unity District of the Metropolitan Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction under the leadership of Supt.
