   Former Director : Dave Crotser Dave lives near Boulder, works in Boulder, and is generally not opposed to boulders. By day he is an optical physicist for space weather instrumentation; by night he is a musician and member of Red Penguin Records; at other times he is watching local sporting events not with Joe. He has been playing bass for 8 years, and recently took up an interest in localized optimization techniques using perturbation theory in multi-variable wavefront space. Dave has been involved with Art as Action's for the past two years, including the production of Learn/Heal/Act. While historically providing musical contributions, Dave signed on as technical director for the 2004 production of Citizen of the Earth.

   Dave Crotser: Dave brings the technological expertise of advanced mathematical tools combined with real world experience of the arts industry to Rempow. Dave Crotser currently works as a calibration specialist in optics at the Laboratory of Aeronautics and Space Physics (LASP), and often contracted out on projects for groups such as NASA. His specialty is in hardware optimization and genetic algorithms, and his expertise has been displayed on the projects Collide, SORCE, and EVE. Crotser is also a performing musician and has been involved in successful event productions of several types with Fractal Tribe. Few people, if any, have a combined understanding of mathematics and the Arts Industry at the level Dave Crotser does.
