MONIKA CROTEAU was first inspired to pursue her dream of ballet when she watched her little sister perform in Coppelia. As she watched her dance on stage, the music, the passion & the beauty of the dancers amazed her. Monika was seven years old then, and began taking ballet classes that year. She attended the Pacific Northwest Ballet School, Universal Ballet Academy, and the Goh Ballet Academy, and is currently a member of the International Ballet Theatre. Her roles include young Clara, Ballerina Doll, and Mirlitons in the Nutcracker. Her dream is to become a professional ballerina at American Ballet Theatre or the National Ballet of Canada.
