Sam Crosson enters his fifth season as the assistant coach in the Pacific men's volleyball program.
His primary duties include recruiting, video and statistical breakdown of opponents, and assist in the academic support of the team.
Sam returns to the Tigers after spending the summer at the National Training Center from which he has brought back a new sense of what it will take for Pacific to succeed. While in Colorado, he assisted with the day to day training of the team and gained valuable knowledge in the game.
As both a player and a coach, Sam has been a part of all four of the Tigers' best seasons. Crosson played for Wortmann from 1993-97, lettering all four years and earning team co-MVP honors in 1997. He is ranked in the top 10 in every career category for Pacific, holding the number two spots in career digs (689), digs in a single season (274) and service aces (86).
Crosson graduated from Pacific in June of 1997 with a bachelor's degree in sport medicine. Upon graduation, Crosson played professionally for Herentals in Belgium until 1998. Crosson is currently pursuing a master's degree in sport sciences.
