Mary Crossman of Brandon, director of health records management, has been selected as Mississippi's "Outstanding Older Worker".
Mississippi State Hospital is proud that Mary Crossman of Brandon, director of health records management, has been selected as Mississippi's "Outstanding Older Worker" by the Experience Works Prime Time Awards Program. Crossman has been employed by the MSH since January 7, 1951. Fresh out of college, she started at the hospital as a typing clerk and was quickly promoted to Director of Medical Records, a position she still holds although her title has been changed to Director of Health Records Management.
Experience Works is a 37-year-old national, nonprofit organization that offers training, employment Each year, the organization honors 52 outstanding older workers from all states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, as well as outstanding employers of older workers and America's oldest worker.
Crossman was honored at a special ceremony in Washington, D.C.
