Kelly Crossman is an Associate Professor of Architectural History in the School for Studies in Art and Culture at Carleton University.Subsequent to study at Edinburgh (Ph.D.), Toronto (MA) and Winnipeg (BA), his post-doctoral work at McGill University resulted in a study of Canadian architectural ideology at the end of the 19th century.Professor Crossman has published widely in the area of Canadian architectural history and theory as well as working in the field of heritage research and management for Parks Canada, the Province of Ontario, Ministry of Culture and Recreation and the Historic Resources Branch, Province of Manitoba.In collaboration with the Canadian Centre for Architecture he established the architectural journal Architecture and Ideas for which he is currently editor/publisher.His current research interests focus on the intersection of architectural thought with media and technologically-based theory and the development of structures for non-profit web delivery of architecture learning materials. -
