Rachel Crossley - IR training and research
After graduating from Sheffield University with a degree in German and Business Studies, Rachel spent several years living in Munich, Germany. During this time she worked as a freelance business English trainer, teaching both general and specialist in-house courses for companies such as BMW, Deutsche Bank, Sun Microsystems, Avon Cosmetics, Commerzbank and Microsoft.
In 1997, Rachel returned to London, where she joined Thomson Financial, first working in the research department undertaking research into financial institutions in Europe, before moving into the investor relations team. Here she first headed up the European shareholder identification team, and then worked on the IR advisory side, providing strategic advice to international corporates on their investor relations programmes.
In 2002, Rachel moved to GCG, where she worked with UK and international corporates, helping them to communicate effectively with their shareholders and the financial markets.
