   After high school, Peter Crossley received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alberta and went on to an honours law degree at the University of Wales at Cardiff.
   
   During his university days, he gained experience at various jobs such as grass cutting, carpet cleaning, pipe lining and sandblasting drill pipe.
   
   He has operated his own law practice in Rocky Mountain House for more than 10 years.
   
   Mr. Crossley has served the community as a director for the Red Deer Kidney Foundation, and as Treasurer for the Rocky Kinsmen. He has held various directorships for the Rocky Rotary Club and served two terms as President of the Rocky Rotary Club.
   
   He is honoured to be able to carry the Liberal message to Yellowhead: individual respect and equality; fiscal responsibility with a heart; the expansion of public health care; and a clear vision of a strong, prosperous future for all of Canada.
   
   Mr. Crossley has family in most parts of Alberta and his young son lives near Cochrane. His dad ran for the Provincial Liberals twice in the 1960s.
   
   He is 40 years old and was born in Edmonton. His personal interests include backpacking, bike riding, and movies.
