   Mr. Crossley currently holds the position of Assistant Director of Planning and Mitigation for the Johnson County, KS Office of Emergency Management & Homeland Security where he has been employed for eight years.
   
   Nick holds the Certified Emergency Manager credential from the International Association of Emergency Managers, the Associate Business Continuity Planning certification from the Disaster Recovery Institute International and the Kansas Certified Emergency Manager credential from the Kansas Emergency Management Association.
   
   Nick currently serves as the Vice Chair of the IAEM CEM Commission, the Chair of the Metropolitan Emergency Managers Committee (under the local council of governments - Mid America Regional Council) and the Secretary of the board of Directors for the Kansas Emergency Management Association.In addition, he has served for five years on the board of the Partnership for Emergency Planning - a Kansas City area trade group that promotes business continuity planning and disaster preparedness; he is the current Past-President.
   
   In addition, Nick is an adjunct professor for Park University - Hauptmann Graduate School for Public Affairs and Central Missouri State University.He designs and teaches Emergency Management related graduate and undergraduate courses.He holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Missouri at Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
