Cathy Crossing

In 1993 Crossing moved to Canberra, graduating from the Australian National University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Music, having studied with leading Australian clarinettist, Alan Vivian.

From 1997, Cathy performed regularly with Canberra's orchestra's, and travelled in Europe having lessons with some of the worlds greatest clarinettists such as Andrew Marriner (Principal clarinettist, London Symphony Orchestra), Philippe Cuper (Principal clarinettist, Paris Opera Orchestra), and Fabio di Casola (Senior clarinet Lecturer, Winterthur Musikkollegium, Switzerland).

Crossing was the 2002 and 2005 Director of the Young Music Society Summer School which is a two-week music school for 330 children.
