   The day began with the keynote address, Ms. Leah Crossgrove, a formal single mom and vice president of Washington Mutual shared her tragic story of a life of despair to living a life of self-reliance and joy with she and her children. We received many comments from mothers who were inspired and touched by her story of courage and determination to overcome major challenges to become a successful businesswoman and mother.
   
   Next years conference plans are already underway, with the date set for September 13th so make sure you keep that day free. You won't be disappointed.
   
   When asked what the participants felt about the conference here are just a few of the hundreds of responses we received.
