   JAN CROSSEN, BS, MSA Hospital Director, Jan Crossen, holding two of her "kids", "Dottie Pepper," a pug, and "Wynonna Arizona (Nonnie)" a shitz-tsu mix.
   
   Jan was born and reared in Athens, Ohio. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania, and her Master's from Ohio University in Athens. Her background is in high school education, public relations, sales, marketing, and management. Jan lived in Pittsburgh, PA. prior to her transfer with Residence Inn by Marriott, to Tucson in 1994. Two years later, Jan left the corporate world and, as Hospital Director, took over the business responsibilities of the practice.
   
   Jan's life-long dream of being a mother came true in 1999 when she adopted her son, Joshua. Now a teenager, Josh enjoys computers, acting, and playing the piano. He is often at the clinic where he carries food or escorts clients to their cars.
   
   Jan's animal family members include a pug, a shitz-tsu mix, and a rescued English toy spaniel. She is particularly fond of siamese mixes, and has two stay-at-home cats, as well as, "Emily May," our clinic hostess, who is also a siamese mix.

   Dr. Swahlen & our Hospital Director, Jan Crossen, attended the 5 day annual AAHA Conference held in Phoenix this spring.
