   John Crosse joined Humberside Police in March 2000 as the Assistant Chief Constable (Operations).He comes from West Yorkshire Police, where he has worked as the Divisional Commander of Toller Lane, north Bradford.Mr Crosse joined the police service in 1986 following a successful nine-year career with the Royal Air Force.
   
   He spent seven years in operational roles as Constable, Sergeant and Inspector.As a Chief Inspector in 1995 he became Staff Officer to Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Constabulary at the Home Office.He returned to West Yorkshire two years later.As a Superintendent, Mr Crosse gained membership of the Institute of Management and fellowship of the Institute of Personnel and Development ACC(OS) John Crosse

   John Crosse, Acting Deputy Chief Constable John Crosse joined Humberside Police in March 2000 as the Assistant Chief Constable (Operations). Mr. Crosse joined the West Yorkshire Police in 1986 following a successful nine year career with the Royal Air Force. His early career as a Constable, Sergeant and Inspector was spent in operational roles. In 1995, as a Chief Inspector, he became Staff Officer to Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Constabulary. Before joining the Humberside Police, he was the Divisional Commander of the Toller Lane area in Bradford. Mr Crosse is a Member of the Institute of Management and a Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development.
