Virginia Faye Becker Cross, 71, of Hendersonville died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006, at Pardee Hospital.
She was a native of Prattsville, N.Y., the daughter of the late Olin J. Becker and Doris Louise Tompkins Becker. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene Smead; and a sister, Delores Becker. She lived in Hendersonville for the past 25 years after living in Prattsville, Lexington, Jefferson and Voorheesville, N.Y.
She was a graduate of Gilboa Central High School in Gilboa, N.Y. She was a member of the Mills River Presbyterian Church, where she was a former Sunday school teacher. She also helped out with Meals on Wheels.
