The Pomona show will feature an barricaded area dedicated to pre-1957 modified street rods, Cross says.

"The trend we're seeing now is more of the early 1970s muscle cars for sale," she adds.

Such cars are increasing in popularity, she says, and show promoters are seeing an increased number of parts vendors and show vehicles at each event.
