Geoffrey A. Cross, Professor of English at the University of Louisville, teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in composition studies.In 1995, he received the NCTE Best Book in Scientific and Technical Writing Award for his book Collaboration and Conflict.In 1997, he received the Association for Business Communication Outstanding Researcher Award.In 2002, he received the Association for Business Communication Award for Distinguished Publication for his book Forming the Collective Mind; it won in 2003 the Best Book in Technical or Scientific Communication Award from NCTE and ATTW.He is currently analyzing data gathered from his fourth extended field experience for a book under contract with SUNY Press.
