BRIAN CRAWFORD, MBA, Vice President Strategy and Development, is well known in health care and disease management as a leader in innovation, with insight both into product and patient needs.Brian has over 22 years of healthcare experience.He started his career at Merck in 1980, spending 10 years in positions of increasing responsibility in sales and marketing.In 1990 he joined Centocor to direct Sales Operations and Managed Care where his team worked with major hospital systems and health plans across the country.In 1994 he took his unique experience in biotech and pharmaceuticals to Astra Merck where he initiated that company's Biotechnology Marketing Alliances.He was part of a team that took Prilosec from $250 Million U.S. sales to $ 6 Billion in six years.As part of a Loaned Executive Program, Brian became Executive Director of the Center For Health Futures, an innovative partnership between Astra Merck (subsequently AstraZeneca) and the Florida Hospital Health System.
