Three coaches from Florida's District 13 (Brandon area) - Weaver, Crawford and Mike Martin - echoed those sentiments, saying the rule, implemented during the regular season, went off without a hitch.

"I thought that was a tremendous thing," Crawford said."It gave us the opportunity to start working with other players and develop more pitchers."
Crawford's son, Christian, 10, a pitcher at East Bay Little League and a member of the National All-Star team, said he and his teammates also accepted the rule.
