   Lauren has worked for Fairbank, Maslin, Maullin & Associates, a political opinion research firm, since April 2005. Prior to her work at FMMA, Lauren attended and graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Geography. During her senior year, she interned at the Maryland General Assembly. After graduating, she worked as a field organizer for a congressional campaign in Southern Florida, interned on Capitol Hill for Representative Steny Hoyer, and worked as an associate for a democratic political fundraising firm in Baltimore.
   
   Originally from Maryland, Lauren moved to San Francisco in 2004 to escape the overwhelming conservative political atmosphere that had taken over Washington DC. Shortly thereafter, she became involved with SFWPC and currently serves as the member records chair.

   Lauren graduated from the University of Maryland in 2002 with a B.S. in geography. She then went on to pursue a career in politics, working on a congressional campaign in Florida, interning on Capitol Hill and working for a political consulting and fundraising firm. She is excited to expand her professional experiences and learn more about the legal field. She hopes to attend law school in the next couple of years.
   
   Lauren serves as a full time receptionist for the Scarlett Law Group.
