  Joseph Cramer, MDVice President, Medical AffairsDr. Cramer is the Corporate Medical Director and oversees HealthInsight's medical relations and planning.He continues to maintain a part-time pediatric practice in Salt Lake City.He received his MD from the University of Arizona, and completed an internship at Maricopa County General Hospital in Phoenix.His pediatric residency was at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.Prior to entering the private practice of pediatrics at Cottonwood Pediatrics (now an office of Wasatch Pediatrics), Dr. Cramer was briefly on the pediatric faculty at the University of Utah.He served as a Utah State Council Director for HealthInsight for several years prior to joining the company as an employee.He is presently the spokesperson for the Utah State Immunization Program, "Immunize by Two", a member of the Utah Telehealth Commission, and is Vice Chairman of the Utah Health Information Network.He is a former president of the Utah Medical Association, and has also had leadership roles in other organized and voluntary medical service organizations.He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and member of the American Medical Association.

  Dr. Cramer trained at Duke University and was on the faculty of Pediatrics at the University of Utah.He joined with Dr. Cosgrove to form Cottonwood Pediatrics.They eventually added more doctors and then in 1996 merged with Willow Creek Pediatrics to form Wasatch Pediatrics.He is interested in the future of medicine and stays abreast of technological, medical, and cultural developments that may affect the practice of medicine.He has served on the IHC Board of Trustees and served for over a year at the Homeless Shelter, caring for patients.He served as the President of the Utah Medical Association, and remains active in that organization.He works only part time at Cottonwood Pediatrics due to his work at HealthInsight, the quality improvement organization for the States of Utah and Nevada.
  
  Dr. Cramer and his wife Janet have five sons and twin grandsons.
  
  He enjoys his patients and the opportunity to help them.
